Rockies HSBB Fundraiser Participants,
I wanted to provide an update on the status of all Rockies fundraiser tickets that can be passed along to your team and customers-
As of Tuesday morning, Major League Baseball has suspended the start of the season until at least mid-May and no further decision has been made regarding when games will begin.
Because no official decision has been made by MLB the Rockies have not been able to establish a formal ticket exchange policy. Currently, all Rockies ticket exchanges and voucher redemptions have been suspended.
I would advise all customers to KEEP YOUR TICKETS. Once a decision has been made by MLB about how the season will be played out the Rockies will determine the ticket exchange procedure. Exchanging tickets will require the original ticket, which is why it’s important that no one throws away tickets. It’s likely the Rockies adapt a very customer friendly exchange policy for the remaining games in the 2020 seasons. This exchange policy applies to individual customers and unsold tickets from your school.
If you have customers that would like a full refund and are not interested in exchanging tickets then this would need to take place on your end. Since the initial sale would also include your raised funds. The Rockies cannot provide any cash/credit refunds to your individual customers.
Regarding your schools game at Coors Field, no official has been made yet. Much of this is up to CHSAA and each school’s decision regarding the spring sports season. However, as it becomes increasingly more likely that Coors Field does not host a game for your school then the Rockies would waive the minimum ticket purchase for your school. This would mean that any tickets that have not yet been sold by your school could be returned to the Rockies to reduce your costs.
Any tickets that you have sold already can be kept by the customer and the school would still be responsible for the original cost of these tickets.
Once MLB and the Rockies have made official decisions I will reach out with more information.
Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
Best wishes and stay safe,
